Our Services

General Services

  • Wellness Care / Immunizations

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam, internal parasite testing, heartworm and flea control, vaccination program, spay and neuter packages and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

  • Internal Medicine

Our hospital covers many areas of internal medicine such as dermatology, gastroenterolgy, endocrinology and orthopedic surgery. We also maintain close professional relationships with top area specialists in all fields.

  • Surgery

We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: board certified surgeon available for consultation, fully trained veterinary and technical staff to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet, advanced sterilization techniques, ECG and oxygen saturation monitors, intensive after surgery care and full blood testing.

  • Lasers

We offer laser surgery as an elective choice for your pet's surgical needs. Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of conditions such as cyst, tumor, and wart removal, and can even be used in declawing. Laser procedures result in less pain, less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort.

  • Radiology

Our hospital has complete, state-of-the-art digital radiology capability to aid in quickly assessing and diagnosing your pet. Digital radiographs can be easily emailed to any specialist as well, saving our customers time and money. We also do OFA Certification radiographs and other screening radiographs.

  • Dental Care

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth, as well as their general health. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly, above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. After dental procedures we will discuss dental management and future dental care for your pet to keep them smiling bright and feeling great!

  • Fully Stocked Pharmacy

Our hospital stocks a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field. We can also special-order drugs and nutritional supplements to meet our patients' needs.

  • Microchipping

Microchips have helped reunite thousands of lost pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery. Our staff will implant the chip into your pet and guide you through the chip registering process so that he or she will be permanently identifiable and registered to you. The other benefit to microchipping your pet is that you can obtain a lifetime license once your pet is permanently identified (microchipped or tatooed).  This eliminates the need to purchase an annual pet license and is less expensive in the long run.

  • Euthanasia / End of Life Services

Saying goodbye to a long-time companion is always painful. Our caring and compassionate staff will assist pet owners with the difficult process of euthanasia using the most humane, stress-free methods with your pet's well-being and dignity in mind. We can also arrange for pet cremation, and the return of remains, using a trusted and reputable local service.

Also, we have a certified cardiology specialist and a licensed rehabilitation therapist who see patients at our facility on specific days.

  • Behavioral Medicine

Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. We can help owners in determining the causes of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the client. We also maintain relationships with area behavioral specialists should your pet need more detailed care to solve his or her behavior issue.

  • Nutritional Counseling

Some pets require special food to help manage medical problems. All pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active. We carry a full supply of the most widely used prescription diets and will instruct owners on their use. We will also special order any diet that our customers may need and have it available usually within a couple of days. We also carry a number of premium life-stage diets for healthy pets as well.

  • Pain Management

Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care. We carry a wide selection of drugs and supplements to help keep your pet pain-free and comfortable. We will consult and discuss available options with owners in regard to chronic pain management (i.e. arthritis) for increasing life quality and long-term comfort.

  • Blood Transfusion

We have access to a supply of blood for pets in case of emergency. The blood is collected from donor pets that live with their owners.

  • Pocket Pets

We employ staff veterinarians who possess experience in the care and treatment of small mammals. Our staff veterinarians can advise you as to the dietary, maintenance, hygiene and medical needs of your furry friend. We will perform avian nail trims and wing clips for your feathered friends as well.

Our highly trained groomer possesses the expert knowledge needed to simultaneously offer skilled grooming services, safety and comfort to our patients. The Grooming Salon offers dog and cat bathing, clipping and grooming to owner's specifications as well as nail trimming, ear cleaning and expressing of anal glands.

  • Medical Boarding

Sometimes a sick or injured pet may require boarding in their owner's absence. Though our hospital does not offer general pet boarding services, we do offer medical boarding for our patients who are in need of medical care or treatment while their owners are away.

  • Boarding & Daycare

Our partner facility, Eagle Kennel, offers qualified kennel attendants to care for your pets when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling), and supervised outdoor playtime to keep your dog healthy and happy. Cats have their own separate room to keep out the stressful noise of dogs. Medication administration and bathing are available.
