Megan Zalek, DVM grew up in the Lancaster area. She attended Penn State University, earning her undergraduate degree in Animal Science, minor in Dance, and graduate degree in Pathobiology. She continued her studies at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her veterinary degree in 2019 and was awarded both the Bob Duncan Memorial Diagnostic Scholarship and C.L. Davis Foundation Student Scholarship. Before joining the Coventry and Ludwigs Corner team, she spent a year as an anatomic pathology resident at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.

When not working, Dr. Zalek enjoys dancing, movies, cheering on the Sixers, and spending time at home with her husband and their small zoo of dogs and cats.
